Al-Star Fountain Pen - Fine Nib – Bronze

Lightweight anodized aluminum with an ergonomic grip, built for everyday writing.

The LAMY AL-star takes the iconic, functional silhouette of the Safari and steps it up with a featherlight anodized aluminum body. It offers a cool-to-the-touch, modern feel that stays durable and dent-resistant whether it's living on your desk or tossed into a daily bag. Up front, the transparent smoky grip section features LAMY’s signature contoured triangular shape, which naturally guides your fingers into a relaxed writing posture to prevent fatigue during longer journaling or note-taking sessions. A small cutout window on the barrel lets you check your ink level at a glance, while the sturdy chrome wire clip flexes open easily to secure the pen to notebooks, pockets, and pen loops without stretching out. It comes equipped with an interchangeable polished stainless steel Fine (F) nib and is ready to write with an included LAMY blue ink cartridge. A Note on Factory Quality Testing: As part of LAMY’s strict quality control process in Germany, every fountain pen is individually write-tested at the factory using standard LAMY Blue ink before leaving the facility. You may notice a tiny hint of blue ink residue on the nib or feed upon unboxing. Rest assured your pen is 100% brand new and direct from the manufacturer; we simply recommend giving the nib a quick rinse under lukewarm water before your first inking.
