The Sailor Fountain Pen Maintenance Kit provides an essential care system designed to keep fine writing instruments operating in peak condition. Flushing stubborn pigments or dried dye deposits using a standard twist converter can often take dozens of repetitive cycles. This kit streamlines routine fountain pen care with an ergonomic plunger flush syringe with Sailor’s proprietary friction-fit connector nozzles, allowing clean water or flush solution to cycle directly through the nib and feed under smooth hydraulic pressure in seconds. Beyond flushing, the system expands everyday inking capabilities with three versatile configurations. Attaching the specialized cleaning nozzle directly into the pen's grip section lets users clear out feed channels easily. Swapping to the elongated ink suction nozzle enables drawing up the very last drops from low-level ink bottles or narrow sample vials that fountain pen nibs cannot reach. That same suction nozzle can also be used to cleanly inject bottled ink into the included reusable empty cartridge tube, providing higher ink capacity than a standard converter with zero mess. Housed in a compact, snap-shut clear plastic travel case with custom molded trays, this maintenance set keeps all accessories protected and organized on a studio desk or inside a traveling kit.
