If you don't know the property, it has been standing since 1878, hosting everyone from international dignitaries to weary travelers looking to soak in the hot springs. Instead of commissioning some lazy, dusty commemorative booklet, they went straight to Delfonics to translate their vintage promotional artwork into the holy grail of travel notebooks.

The cover lifts a classic Fujiya Hotel pamphlet illustration, rendering the hotel’s tiered heritage eaves, lush Miyanoshita greenery, and a snow-capped Mount Fuji in Rollbahn’s signature punchy, flat-color mid-century palette. It’s nostalgic, it’s visually loud in the best possible way, and it’s bound with a clean navy elastic strap to keep all your receipts from falling out.

And thankfully, they didn't mess with the underlying mechanics that make Rollbahns universally addictive: 140 pages of fountain-pen-friendly cream paper, a 5 mm grid, micro-perforations for when you need to scribble a quick note and hand it off, and those indispensable clear plastic pockets in the back for your transit cards and museum tickets.
Here is the catch, because of course there’s a catch: you are not walking into a standard Delfonics boutique to grab one. They are keeping this strictly on-property and online through the hotel.
