Let’s look at the mechanics here because the design team clearly understood the assignment. The Jim Mart collection comes in 2 main types. The onigiri cases, and the letter set.
Jim Mart Onigiri Eraser and Paperclip Case
Let's first talk about the onigiri eraser and paperclip cases. The onigiri cases come in two variations: the onigiri eraser set and the onigiri paperclip set. The erasers or paperclips are inside the onigiri case which is then inside a seaweed paper which is then inside in a plastic wrapper that you peel open just like the real deal (Japan and their wrappers).
To open it, just follow the numberes. First you'll pull the top center tab down to split the wrapper in half, then pull the two halves apart revealing the onigiri case. This will definitely bring back memories for some. The only downside to this is that once you open it the first time, that's it (I guess just like a real onigiri).
Savor the moment, because you'll get to open it only once
Each variation come in 4 different flavors like Salmon, Pickled Plum, Tuna Mayo, and Pollock Roe. The sturdy little triangular case doubles as a mini storage box for all of your tiny things like SD cards, paper clips, and even stitch markers if you're crocheting.
What you get when you purchase these cute stationery is 1 onigiri case, and 6 erasers or paper clips (2 designs - 3 each). Just make sure you buy the right one because their come as either the eraser set, or paperclip set. Luckily, each one costs almost the same price as an actual onigiri.

The other lineup is their letter Jim Mart letter sets, which also has the convenience store tear-open packaging and adorable flavor labels. Unlike the onigiri cases, this set puts you on the other side of the counter, giving you the role of letting someone else open up the item.
Your friend, family, or loved one will love opening this up. Hopefully not more than reading your message.
The letter sets come with the onigiri packaging, but also has fried chicken and their corn dog design. Unlike the onigiri where you tear open, the fried chicken and corn dog open horizontally. They even give you the tape that conbinis use to close up the envelope to keep your food hot. Talk about attention to detail. Each letter set comes with 2 food items, 2 envelopes, and 2 food sealing tape.
