The Uni Kuru Toga Advance Model (M5-1030 Series) upgrades Mitsubishi Pencil's rotating lead technology into a more refined, professional writing instrument. Standard mechanical pencils quickly develop an uneven chisel edge that causes line widths to vary and smudge across the page. The Advance Upgrade solves this by integrating the "W-Speed Kuru Toga Engine," which rotates the lead twice as fast as the standard model, turning 18 degrees every 20 strokes to maintain a clean, conical point even during light-pressure writing or swift cursive. Designed with a low center of gravity, the body features a precision-machined punched metal grip. The perforated guide holes offer a cool, smooth tactile surface that channels moisture and provides positive traction without aggressive diamond knurling. The lower barrel and internal clutch components are cast in metal to stabilize the pencil against wobble, while the gun metal finish transitions smoothly into a gently contoured upper body. At the tip, a fully retractable sliding lead pipe guide completely encases the lead core to prevent snapping under heavy pressure and in bags. As the graphite wears down, the protective sleeve automatically retracts alongside it, allowing you to write uninterrupted across multiple lines without pausing to advance the lead.
